Malcolm J. Henry Consulting (“we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Atlanta, GA, operates the client portal at portal.malcolmjhenry.com (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and automatically:
Account Information
When you create an account via Clerk authentication, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely by Clerk). You may also sign in via OAuth providers (Google, etc.) in which case we receive your profile information from that provider.
Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. We receive and store transaction identifiers, subscription status, and billing details (name, billing address) provided to Stripe.
Communications
When you submit a consultation form or contact us, we collect your name, email, company, and message content. This information is processed via Resend and/or Amazon SES for email delivery.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about your interactions with the Service, including pages visited, features used, time spent, and referring URLs. This is collected via Google Analytics GA4.
Technical Data
We collect your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, and other standard log data when you access the Service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Deliver consulting services and fulfil our contractual obligations
- Send transactional emails (receipts, booking confirmations, service updates)
- Respond to your inquiries and support requests
- Analyze usage to improve the Service
- Send marketing communications (only with your consent)
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Clerk — Authentication and user management. clerk.com/privacy
- Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management. stripe.com/privacy
- Resend / Amazon SES — Transactional email delivery.
- Google Analytics GA4 — Website usage analytics. You may opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Calendly — Consultation scheduling. Your scheduling data is subject to Calendly’s privacy policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. We may also retain and use your data as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at consulting@malcolmjhenry.com. Note that certain financial records may be retained as required by law.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Service. Essential cookies are required for authentication and security. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) help us understand usage patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may affect Service functionality.

Authentication is managed by Clerk, and payment data is handled by Stripe’s PCI-compliant infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
